How we earn
We participate in affiliate programs including Amazon Associates, Litter-Robot’s affiliate program, and Chewy’s affiliate program, along with a small number of litter-subscription partners. When you click a “Check price” or “See it at [retailer]” link and go on to buy, the retailer may pay us a small commission. This is how we keep Honest Whiskers free to read and free of paid ads.
What this doesn’t change
We choose what to recommend before we think about commission. Our rankings are built from research — manufacturer specifications, owner-review patterns, and independent testing from reputable outlets — not from which program pays the most. If a product with no affiliate program at all is genuinely the best pick, we still tell you. See our How We Choose page for the full method.
Untagged links, for now
Honest Whiskers is a new site. Until we’ve built up enough traffic to responsibly register with retailer affiliate programs, the “where to buy” links on this site are plain, untagged links — we earn nothing from them yet. We’re telling you this because honesty matters to us more than a few dollars of commission. Once we do register, we’ll update this page and add the required disclosures for each program.
Editorial independence
No brand, retailer, or manufacturer gets to see or influence a review before it’s published. We don’t accept payment for favorable coverage, and we don’t do sponsored “reviews.”
