The FDA is aware of 28 deaths and 8 illnesses for dogs that consumed the affected products.

About Aflatoxin

Pets that have consumed the above-referenced products may exhibit symptoms such as vomiting, yellow-tinted eyes, diarrhea, sluggishness, lethargy, or reluctance to eat.

Should a pet demonstrate such symptoms, they must be seen by a veterinarian immediately.

Sunshine Mills, Inc. has contacted retailers to prevent further sales of the product.

This recall is being conducted by the business, fully cooperating with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

What Do I Do Now?

This product may still be for sale in shops, online, and in pet owners’ homes.

Consumers are urged to stop feeding this to their pets and consult a veterinarian, particularly if their pet has displayed symptoms of illness.

Pet owners should dispose of the affected product safely so no other animals can get to it.
