The affected goods have been sold and distributed nationwide across selected PetSmart stores.

Elevated Vitamin D

Dogs that digested large amounts of vitamin D may demonstrate loss of appetite, excessive drooling, weight loss, vomiting, increased thirst, and increased urine.

If left untreated, dogs can develop serious health conditions such as renal failure.

Pet owners who believe their dog has consumed too much vitamin D should consult their veterinarian immediately.

What Do I Do Now?

Consumers are urged to stop feeding the recalled goods to their pets and to dispose of the products.

Pet owners can return their items to the original place of purchase for a refund.
