About Us

Honest Whiskers was created by pet owners who simply want the best for their dogs and cats, having grown tired of the low-quality, self-serving pet nutrition information found online.

James & Mollie

Welcome! My name is James Fuller and I’m the founder of Honest Whiskers.

I’m one of the undecided ones when it comes to the battle between whether a dog or a cat is better as I have both!

I remember the day when they both came into my life. You instantly fall in love with them, right?!

Having had them for a few months, I quickly realized I only wanted the best for them.

I decided the delve deep into the internet to find the best nutritional information so that I could be sure they were getting the things they need for a happy and healthy life!

Soon I realized this wasn’t so easy. Simply, there are so many different brands to choose from! Not only this, but some websites choose to be misleading with their information and only recommend the products they are “paid” for ????.

Having spoken to many people in online communities, I soon realized that I wasn’t alone. Many pet owners are facing all sorts of nutritional issues and most of the information you can find on the internet is not factually or scientifically approved.

Meet Milo!

This was the main issue for me. “How are they qualified to tell me what the best dog food for an X breed of dog is?” “Did they even speak to a vet?”

So I decided that enough was enough and founded Honest Whiskers. We always strive to live by our business values – honesty, integrity, and transparency.

I don’t qualify myself as a vet that can give you scientific information on pet diets BUT I am a seasoned writer.

And throughout my working life, I have built editorial teams that are legally qualified to give nutrition advice for your pet.

I’m also currently studying for a Degree in Law which means I have experience in researching and providing reliable sources and evidence to the information I give you.

ALL the content we will publish on this site has been written or overseen by a qualified vet or vet tech.

For this website, I wanted us to produce truthful, factual, and scientific content. I simply wanted to put together the information I could never find on the internet when I was a fairly new pet owner.

Hopefully, I will succeed in this mission and will certainly give it my best shot. I know that every pet owner simply wants the best for their little members of the family.

My cat, Milo, and my dog, Mollie are so important to me, as I am sure your pet is to you.
